E started preschool the other day, the school near our place is a preschool/daycare centre. We decided to start him off on a once a week schedule to get him adjusted to the idea. Personally though I think the adjustment will be more for me than for him, hehe. So after a slooow start (little boy wanted to sleep in), Ichi and I brought him to school. He still wasn’t his usual self when we got there, in fact all the way to the centre he was in no mood.  We didn’t have any problems leaving him though, he went straight to the tables and busied himself with the items on it. As we were leaving the teacher’s assistant told me that since it was E’s first day and first time in daycare that it was ok to pick him up early and in case E will have problems settling in that they will call us to come and pick him up. Didn’t get any calls which I more or less expected, meanwhile at home I was kinda at a loss on what to do with my time even though there are a million chores to do. I totally forgot to take pics before school so I planned on taking some when I picked him up but then E didn’t want to leave so I had to convince him for a good 10 mins or so to come home. So the drama is getting him to and from school and not actually him staying in school. Oh well, let’s hope next week is better at least for me haha!
