Part of our Christmas presents for our families last year was a personalized 2009 calendar. As early as the start of the year, my mom already asked me to do a 2010 calendar for her monday group that would be her Christmas present for them. I wanted to wait for the different digital scrap shoppes to start offering their 2010 calendar kits (easier for me to do the calendars haha!) but since I’m due to give birth early November (I can give birth as early as mid- October when the kits usually come out) I decided to just start making the calendar from scratch, from the different kits that I already have. First thing to do though was to make the dates, had to make sure that the dates were put in the correct days. After that to decide on a layout that I can carry throughout the months. So far, I’ve been able to finish up to June. 6 more pages to go and hopefully I can still have the time to do the ones for the family.

Hi michelle! these are so nice! where do you print it on? photographic paper or on cardstock? great idea for christmas gifts!
i want to give them away to my daughter’s friends… any idea how to keep it age appropirate for 9 year olds? and more importantly, how to keep the cost as low as possible. Thanks!

@phenomenal woman: hi tins! thanks! just photo paper, last year i printed 8x10s (at the local photo shop) for the grandparents and 4×6 (bought photo paper and printed them myself) for our siblings. It’s cheaper if you print it at a smaller size 4×6 or 5×7.
Maybe you can think of a theme that they would like? or if girls naman lahat, there are a lot of girly elements to create the calendar layouts. also with the dates pwede yung not in boxes na, but just the days and corresponding dates, smaller pa yun.
ahh, i wish i could start on these soon!! i haven’t decided yet whether to use just A’s pics or mixed with family photos e.
